Tech firm Cognizant partnered with edX / 2U (Nasdaq: TWOU) to supply a brand new suite of Java programs, increasing its current train-to-hire Skill Accelerator program.
The initiative, introduced this month, is meant to provide certified learners the chance to both pursue a full-time job at Cognizant or different firms requiring software program programmers.
There shall be 5 self-placed, free Java programs to finish below 90 days. After that interval, an expert “Introduction to Java Programming” certificates shall be granted.
Programs are centered on core Java programming, JavaScript, cloud computing, HTML5, and CSS3.
So far, Cognizant has employed over 100 graduates from 2U boot camp coaching.
The Cognizant Expertise Accelerator program is geared toward U.S. veterans, ladies returning to the workforce, non-profit beneficiaries, and neighborhood faculty college students.
